Why I recommend "Knocked Up" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I laughed! Sure, it was immature and about an irresponsible fling that ends up in a BABY for goodness sake . . . but hey, it was funny!

Why I want to consume "Crest Whitening Rinse" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I talked to my dentist about whitening my teeth and it costs $200 – which, to be honest, is not as expensive as I thought it would be . . . however, I’m trying this alternative first. I’ve heard good things about this product.

So far, I’ve used it twice – once last night and once this morning. I like the taste – it’s not over powering or painful like a lot of mouthwashes. We shall see about results!

Entertaining . . . — 2 years ago

It’s a good summer horror flick – not too scary (only PG 13). Entertaining. Probably better as a rental though.

Why I recommend "The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid: A Memoir" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Bill Bryson provides witty commentary and stories about his experience growing up in the 1950s. It was a glimpse back in time when things appeared to be simplier, slower, and easier . . . I think my parents would really like this book – it’s the kind of thing they could get really nostalgic over.

While I liked it and would recommend this to any Bill Bryson fan as it does provide some background into characters like Katz . . . I didn’t like it quite as much as “Neither Here Nor There” or “A Walk in the Woods”. However, it was a good, entertaining, and informative read.

not my favorite movie of the year. Still, it was good. Judi Dench is fab.

Why I recommend "A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is the second Bill Bryson book I have consumed and I liked it as much or more than the first. Just as “Neither Hear Nor There” made me long for an opportunity to book a plane ticket to Europe, “A Walk in the Woods” made me long for the Great Outdoors. I live in CA so the closet thing to the AP we have is the Pacific Crest Trail. This book made me want to take a hike and get out of the city. In fact, there is a mountain nearby that I am just itching to climb now! Additionally, this was a highly entertaining book. Bill is witty, insightful, and just plain old funny. A highly reccomended read!

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s laugh out loud funny. He is a very funny man who writes about the little things we all seem to notice but never stop to wonder about. This book made me want to pack a backpack and passport and hop the first flight to Europe.
