It had the same fate as other sequels of famous movies – like Cruel Intentions 2 or 3, Urban Legends… Crappy acting and cringe moments.

Yes it’s really violent but my Brazilian friends said, ‘hey, that’s what it is like’. Violence is a part of life there. If you read “A Death in Brazil”, he says that while some of the actors have got a break from the movie, most haven’t been able to escape from their old life which is quite sad. Also good to watch is “City of Men”, a spin-off tv series. Still violent but with lighthearted moments as well.
