Especially so for a chick flick. If you’re going to see one chick flick see this one.

A load of Christian propaganda disguised as a children’s book. I read this when I was in 1st grade and it bored the hell out of me. If you want to see a good book by C.S. Lewis read The Screwtape Letters. Sure, The Screwtape Letters is also Christian propaganda but it’s a lot more interesting then this.
This book is definetly an example of good idea, poorly executed.
What could’ve been a great book turned out to be a morbid teenage love story set in the future. The same story with a modern twist can be seen in A Walk to Remember.
One of the lessons I’ve learned from reading books is that all good books have character development. This book failed to have that. The girl and the guy are annoying at the beggining and they’re still annoying at the end.
If the author had drawn some attention away from the dull, unoriginal love story and directed it more toward the characters themselves this could’ve been a great book.
Too bad. :(
I forgot to write in my last post that I gave the ending some credit because it was realistic. Oops.
I saw The Break Up and it was pretty funny at the beggining. It started to fade toward the end though. The ending was depressing but I gave it some credit.
Overall, you should see it on a Sunday when you have nothing better to do; and only once.
It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. It was just sorta blehish (not that I expected much anyway).
An incredibly awesome book. I enjoyed it immensly.
