A story about "The Motorcycle Diaries (Full Screen Edition)" — 3 years ago
Be ready to read the subtitles… unless you know Spanish. Nevertheless, it was both funny, touching and a testimony to the human spirit- with compassion.

This was a beautiful love story… I didn’t know Deepak Chopra had a novel until I read about it on this site. A reminder that true, all consuming love lasts forever, and all things are possible~
I’ve read about 4 chapters, I like the way this story is unfolding… I didn’t know Deepak Chopra had a novel until coming across someones page on 43Things~
Of course I’ve eaten corned beef before… I tried it at Rex’s Kelly Deli after seeing a clip about it on the news. I must admit, it was very tasty. They will be seeing me regularly ; )
I had to watch this movie with my daughter. She asked so nicely. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but it was entertaining~
What I loved most about this movie was how love won out over destruction. The poem written and read by Maya Angelou brought tears to my eyes. In fact, I loved it so, I replayed the scene over and over until I’d written all the words to it. The wedding scene was also spectacular~
After I started dating a man who runs in marathons and reading about Bryce prepare for her race, I have become motivated to try a new sport. I attempted to run in high school, but had difficulty breathing at the same time ;) I’m starting out slowly, but I’m up for the challenge. Today was my second time using the treadmill to walk/run. I can feel it too. I came home to stretch, but I know I’ll have to stretch some more before night falls. This book should help me along the way.
I was given this book to read by a friend ; ) It was a quick, easy read and full of promise. It was a reminder to expect the best and receive it when it comes, whether it was expected or not~
I plan to go over it again, because I may have read it too fast.
I loved this book! It started out a little slow, but it picked up quickly and took off. I love Pearl Cleage because both this book and What Look’s Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day told a love tale. This book was powerful because of the delicate manner in which Cleage builds the relationship between Regina and Blue before they ultimately come together. The power of relationships, or the lack of have quite an impact on individuals as well as society. The people across town who aren’t being cared for or taken care of will meet you or your children one day…at some point in life you may very well end up on the same street. This book touches on the fact that people make mistakes, yet they can still be great and serve the greater good. Love is and ain’t it great! Finally (my personal thought), as people we are our brother’s keeper~ regardless of race, gender, or other superficial ideas that some believe separate us. If we could take care of ourselves and look out for our brother/sister (we are global neighbors), we’d be a lot better off, and our planet would be that much safer.
My students beg to read it themselves after I complete each read-aloud – I read to them right after recess.
