God of Clocks (Deepgate Codex Trilogy 3)

This was an amazing trilogy with a story-arc that I never could have comprehended when I first began. It contained a great array of fascinating characters and mind bending plots. As good as any book I’ve read, a must read.

This is only my second Dean Koontz book I’ve read; the first being Fear Nothing. I’m not generally a fan of stories in the first-person but Koontz pulls it off pretty well. The only parts that really felt forced in the book were some of the exchanges between Chris, Sasha, and Bobby, at a couple places bordering on the very annoying. However, everything begins to payoff once you pass the halfway point. Koontz puts you on a runaway train that delivers you right to the end.

Pick up a book by Salvatore and you’ll never be disappointed. Salvatore became wildly popular with the character Drizzt Do’urden. This is yet another of his books where he shows that he can create fascinating characters other than the acclaimed Drizzt. This book host a whole cast that you feel Salvatore could take and build on in many more novels. Very good read….hope you pick it up and enjoy.

Transcendence (The Second DemonWars Saga, Book 2)

Wow, this was probably one of my favorite books out of both Demon War sagas. Aside from some big surprises (some very big surprises), it sets you up perfectly for the final book in the series.

The Demon War are an incredible and epic collection. If you are a fan of R.A. Salvatore or fantasy in general, you would be doing yourself a disfavor if you did not read these.
