arthur golden’s book is a pivotal one for me. It has launched me to my quest for everything about geisha. it is an interesting and highly fascinating culture. needless to say the book is phenomenal for me.

Dan Brown can weave a story worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster. Exactly why I think he’s such a poser. Dan Brown=overrated.

Don’t get me wrong, I read all of his 4 books, enjoyed at least two. very commercialized. Angels & Demons came on top, because it’s fast-paced, and referred to a number of historical landmarks. If you’ve been to these places u cannot help but get involved in the search for clues. like hansel and gretel following bread crumbs. Nice plot too.

But if you want the real deal read Umberto Eco

I’ve been introduced to umberto eco way before i read all those esoteric/conspiracy/templar stuff like Holy Blood, Holy Grail; The Templar Revelation, etc. And my head reeled. Eco is infinitely erudite. A level where Dan Brown could only hope to be.

If you’re impressed with The Da Vinci Code, you aint seen no Eco yet.
