It is difficult for me to say this without sounding overly judgemental but I will do my best. Basically, this book is very, very toxic towards transsexual people, it conveys an image of transsexuality that is just not true. It diminishes the importance of transmen, labelling them traitors to the feminist movement (like the pot calling the kettle black). It knowingly uses the wrong pronouns to refer to people, disrespectfully referring to transsexual women with male pronouns and vice versa. The author uses pseudoscience a la John Money to back up her bullshit claims. She is a bonafide 100% transphobe.

Okay, so my wife and I were finishing up our night at Dazbog coffee when we decided to get a movie to watch. We walked over to Videotique and I thought I wanted to get Another Gay Sequel since I saw it on the shelf once and thought that it would be a good watch. I was wrong. Very wrong.

The movie, unlike it’s predecessor, is overly cheesy, has no lesbians in it (unless you count Dawn popping up before the intro music to announce that she was heading to Dinah Shore) and does not even have the same cast. That was a big problem for me. I mean, what would Hannibal and Silence of the Lambs be without Anthony Hopkins? Plus, the airline scene was very insulting as I am a transwoman and so is my wife. And I do not intend to get that much plastic surgery.

It was a waste of our money, plain and simple. I mean, yeah, it was funny to see Perez Hilton go all Jesus crazy but that was about it, really. This is definitely one sequel that definitely sucks.
