A story about "Faction Paradox: This Town Will Never Let Us Go (Faction Paradox)" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Definitely an oblique book, this combines the Faction mythos with the style of ‘The Adventuress of Henrietta Street’, breaking the story down minute-by-minute.

Definitely NOT a suitable introduction to Faction lore, this book will confuse, befuddle, shock, surprise, exhaust, excite, etc.

Definitely worthy to bear the Faction’s sigil.

A story about "Cat's Cradle: Times Crucible (The New Doctor Who Adventures)" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is my favourite 7th Doctor story! Marc Platt’s genius certainly shines here, and should have reinforced the critical acclaim he received for ‘Ghost Light’.

Why don’t more fans appreciate this? It’s brilliant. Perhaps because they don’t understand it?

A story about "About Time 4: The Unauthorized Guide to Doctor Who (About Time; The Unauthorized Guide to Dr. Who (Mad Norwegian Press))" — 4 years ago

This was painstakingly composed and takes me to heaven each time I dive in. Long live the 4th Doctor!

A story about "The H.P. Lovecraft Collection Volume 2: Rough Magik" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is the lone pilot of a show that had endless possibilities. Starring my favourite actor in work based on the writings of my favourite horror writer. All set in the UK and featuring a secret governmental agency ala ‘The X-Files’. Does it get any better?

I can’t say how pitiful it is that the series was never made. Perhaps they’ll give it another go, someday?

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Wow. What a pile o’ smeg. Seriously! It’s so bad it’s hilarious. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap laugh.

A story about "Dagon" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Based more upon ‘The Shadow Over Innsmouth’ than its namesake, ‘Dagon’ packs a powerful visual punch. With nearly flawless execution of effects and brilliant performances by all,
only the script leaves anything to be desired.

H. P. Lovecraft might have been proud…
