A story about "Bee Movie (Widescreen Edition)" — 4 years ago
The part with Sting (um, I mean Gordon Sumner) was really funny.

Typical middle book of a trilogy…good story, but a LOT is left hanging at the end. It was good to have some development of Hatter Madigan’s character.
Saw this on HBO and it is a fun film. We all know what happens and most of us saw the news reports on the recount in Florida for the 2000 Election, but what makes this film is the insider viewpoint. You spend most of the film thinking that all of these people (Repub’s and Dem’s) are just slightly insane. Spacey, Leary and Dern are really good and the conversation about the plural of chad is a beautiful piece of screenwriting.
Other reviewers below are correct. Good book, but could have been great if the author had found a different tone. I really wanted this book to “teach” and open my eyes to something new. Instead it was presented in a manner that was at times confused or overly preachy. Last few chapters are the best part.
If you are a member of Gen X and even mildly paid attention to the pop culture scene of the ’80’s and ’90’s you will enjoy Klosterman’s view of the world. His takes on Star Wars, The Real World, Billy Joel and many others are funny and insightful.
A perfect ale for Halloween. This ale has a hint of pumpkin and other spices that give it truely Fall Season taste.
This is a love or hate album from Level 42. I happen to love it, but many fans and critics consider it not their best effort. The ballad “Silence” is possibly the best song on the album, but I also enjoy “Tracie” and “Heaven in my Hands”. If you like Level 42 this is worth a listen at the least.
A great tribute album to June Carter Cash featuring songs she helped make popular or she wrote. Features Loretta Lynn, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Ronnie Dunn, Emmylou Harris and others. Highlight in my opinion is Elvis Costello’s version of “Ring of Fire” which alone makes this album a “must listen” selection.
Good solid overview of all things Mac OS X. Includes tricks and tips for the novice up to the more advanced user. The book is well written in a format that is easy to read, skim for highlights on a specific topic or look up a specific piece of information in a panic. Do take note of the print edition if you are buying the book as it is updated constantly and you might want to find the most recent update.
In the summer of 1986 my parents bought a CD player (hey, it was “new” tech back then) and this was the first CD I bought. The single “Something About You” was a big hit and I had read a bunch of articles on Mark King and his bass playing style so it peaked my interest in the album. It got a lot of play that summer.
Twenty-one years later I still have the CD and it is still a great album. Favorite tracks are “World Machine”, “Something About You” and “Dream-Crazy”.
