I would say that this book is closer to a fantasy then a romance novel. Nora Roberts is a solid story teller and this book while still focusing on a couple also tells a tale of Vampires and magic. I found it a solid enough read to dive into book two of the trilogy immediately. It is a fast read.

This is not a great book, just a simple sweet, retelling with twists, of fairy tales. It kept me entertained and I enjoyed the heroine Vevila.

This book by the author of Winnie-the-Pooh is “billed” an adult fairy tale. It is a rather sweet tale and entertaining. I would put it more at sixth grade level by today’s standards though. It kept me amused for a few hours.

This is a pretty light hearted book. It was an amusing, fast read, with a sly sense of humor.

I am not a horror fan, so reading this bok was almost an experiment for me. I was very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the stories immensely. It was well written and the stories wove together to tell a poignant story of the Vietnam years.
