It always amazes me when I see a movie of this caliber. With Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, and a list of fantastic supporting actors, this movie has a little bit of everything and was incredibly well-crafted. It flows from scene to scene, making it entertaining and rewarding to watch. Love story, action, mystery, incredible actors, interesting characters, great use of a breathtaking location (Mount Rushmore), a plot that is completely well-conceived and a script that is well-written, fused with the unique film shooting style for which Hitchcock is renowned.

I haven’t enjoyed all of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies, but this is definitely one of his storytelling masterpieces. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. It’s one I’ll be watching again.

If you haven’t seen it, add it to your list. Bruce Campbell, Ossie Davis…a couple of lesser-seen actors who are definitely worth watching. I can’t even explain. Elvis and JFK are alive, in a nursing home, fighting off a mummy. Intrigued yet?

It’s time to stop being so serious and just watch. It’s a movie, for goodness sake!
