WORTH CONSUMING!
This was a great read! The author was honest, yet not maudlin about his suicide attempt. I feel he has a natuaral gift for writing.

Disappointing — 3 years ago
This book was a disappointment to me. I had expected a wonderful year full of stories about making do and discovering new ways to cook and save money. Instead, it was mostly a year of political diatribe that I found less then encouraging.
Wishy washy is a good review of this book — 3 years ago
This book came out pretty wishy washy to me. The woman in it faced horrendous disfigurement but never seemed to get the “story” off the ground.
