WORTH CONSUMING!

My notes… :) Don’t mind them.

Dr. Jonathan Mann, former head of W.H.O., was called a scientist with a heart of gold by a joyful African woman.

President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, showed that prevention campaigns can work!

I also recall appreciating their demonstration of the actual virus. It gave me a good idea of how adaptable the virus is and how incredibly arduous it be to “crack” it.

A story about the last time I consumed "Latawnya, the Naughty Horse, Learns to Say "No" to Drugs" — 2 years ago

This is the most uncreative and poorly written book for children about drugs and alcohol. They might as well have used people instead of horses and maybe some color in the illustrations. The writing style was painful so I read quickly. Here, you can read it.

A story about "McDonalds French Fries" — 2 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I remember whenever I got these, as weird as it seems, I would always grab a fry and with my pointer finger and thumb rub all the salt off and then turn it to do it to the other side and then eat it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Anyone up for some jiggly ball?

Today, I was watching the pride episode of Scrubs. I realized that near the end of the show they were playing sideways. I didn’t except that song to play on televison. I love that song and it is one of my favorite songs on this album. I was so happy and surprised. You should have seen me during the commerical.

A story about "Plain Bagel" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This morning I split a plain mini-bagel in half. I put one in the toaster and I eat the other one with cream cheese.

I took the other one out of the toaster and placed it on the empty plastic bag it came in for one second and then quickly picked it back up realizing it has germs. :P

However, the ink on the bag was imprinted on the bagel and removed from the bag.

My inital reaction was disgust and my first thought was…

What do they put on the side of the bagel to make it react that way when heated?

WORTH CONSUMING!

Irony is a common experience among humans…

Josh starts accusing Alice of taking his hat when he is wearing it or he cannot find his glasses but there are on his head or right in front of him on his desk.

You cannot find you keys but then you realize they are in your hands or pocket. Or you might realize they are still in the car door because you never remembered to take them out.

A story about "Oranges" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

“The higher humidity of Florida results in a thinner, smoother rind, which is much harder to peel, than the California Navel.” (BlackJack Orchards)

They are very sweet in February, April, and March. Late season they are dry, puffy, and expensive so don’t buy them then but instead choose summer fruits. (Produce Pete)

“The full flavor and color of the Navel Orange usually isn’t set until after Thanksgiving.” (Pearson Ranch)

Now You know. :D

A story about "Piñata" — 3 years ago

While hitting the piñata the following rhyme is sung:

Dale, dale, dale,
No pierdas el tino
Porque si lo pierdes
pierdes el camino.
Ya le diste una,
ya le diste dos,
ya le diste tres
¡y tu tiempo se acabó!

which translates as:

Hit it, hit it, hit it
Don’t lose your aim
Because if you lose it
You will lose your way.
You have hit it once
You have hit it twice
You have hit it thrice
And your time is over now!
