I'm utterly terrible when it comes to these eggnog lattes — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I cannot stop myself from ordering them, again and again, like candy to a baby : ) They have become a weekly habit for me, and I’m sure Starbucks has like a huge plaque somewhere with my name on it that reads, “Sucka!”

But a photo of this product should be in the dictionary, right next to the word “divine” and next to “the best of American capitalism that could be paired with rum if the Starbucks was positioned handily next to a liquor store.” Hmmmm…... would coffee even be good paired with rum – I’m pretty sure it’s been done.

Why I want to consume "Abundance: A Novel of Marie Antoinette" — 2 years ago

I was spurred to buy this following a conversation with friends after we saw the recent movie version of “Marie Antoinette,” starring Kirsten Dunst. My roommate and her two friends and I debated how historically accurate the movie was after watching it one weekend in Silver Spring, MD. Maybe it doesn’t matter since the film was enjoyable and entertaining and it did cause me to head straight for the nearby Borders bookstore to buy a book on it and know more.

Why I recommend "Sesame body oil" — 2 years ago

I find that Wal-Mart’s Equate brand of this, as with most products, is just as good as say Neutrogena (in this case). So I always buy the store brand unless I’m buying sliced cheese (which is always nasty when it’s not a leading brand, for some reason) lol

I always save a lot in this way. I saved $2 to $3 on this product in this way. Those little things add up.

And I just used it tonight, and it was just as good as any other brand, so… for what it’s worth, from a frugal gal in Wyoming.

Why I want to consume "Six leftover fried shrimp, steak and fries from Red Lobster on Sunday" — 2 years ago

6:30 p.m.: I stayed home from work, slept all day and didn’t feel well, so I took the easiest thing I had to eat in the place, which was leftovers from Red Lobster. I zapped it all in the microwave for two minutes. Not the best tasting stuff. The steak was tough, but the shrimp was good and the fries bearable, and I didn’t have to spend any money, which is always a plus for me. Now I’m full, so mission accomplished, I guess, even though I’m still craving ice cream (as usual).

I have kept my weight at 155 or so for months, and I have to be careful and not let these cravings and bad food choices get the best of me. So far, so good. If I want something bad like beer or ice cream, I just consider that dinner. Maybe not the healthiest way to do it, but it keeps me looking thin : )
