and that’s all I needed it to be. I liked the plot, though after reading all of Brown’s books you notice that he sort of follows a formula for all of them. Introduce a problem straight from the get-go, bring in a friendly character, a beautiful/handsome love interest, and a seemingly shady character. Put them together, add a wild goose chase, a red herring, and bring them up to a “surprise” conclusion. It is full of facts, but because everyone says the “facts” aren’t all true I’m not sure what to think of them.
Still, it was a really fun read and I’m impatiently looking forward to the sequel.
