This is the first of a series of twelve novels byh Anthony Powell that is basically one novel taking a number of characters in England from the 1920’s to the late 1940’s. THIS SERIES IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE READ. I’ve reread these books at least nine time (who’s counting?).
