Fast, funny, confusing. It’s a good companion to Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy (in four parts).
Anything Asimov is an automatic favourite. No where near as good as his Foundation work however.
I don’t go for much no science fiction, but Wambaugh is pretty damned good. Subtle dark humour and cops, what more do you need?
In the bad post nuclear holocaust genre of science fiction, this one isn’t so bad.
Marsden is a god of Australian youth fiction.
I love this collection of short shorts by Watson. It’s all to do with his offbeat sense of time, which is great. Some real gems in here.
I love it.
For those that don’t know, it’s one of Niven’s finer works – not as thrilling as his Ringworld stuff, but still good. It’s an apocalypse story – doing better than hollywood has ever dreamed of.
I highly recommend it.
