I have lost track of how many times I have read this novel. His entire Asian Saga is phenomenal, but Shogun was his crown jewel. If you buy this book and DON’T like it, I will refund your money. I promise. You just have to come here to Korea to collect it!

Disappointing. But then, it’s a Bruce Willis film. This one didn’t try to be “just an action film,” however, which would have made it okay. Instead, the Director was searching for something with the emotional punch of “Blackhawk Down.”

It had potential, but your execution was wide of the mark, boys.

This is a wonderfully rich series (though it is NOT light reading) and I couldn’t put it down. I devoured the volumes one after another in the course of ten days. The work is laden with metaphor and philosophy, and I promise it will leave you viewing the world, its politics, and your own life differently.
