A really fun take on the Regency genre.

I recently acquired this on DVD.. I’d forgotten how wooden most of the acting is (apart from the MARVELLOUS Danny Kaye, of course) but it’s still funny, witty, and charming.

If you’re a fan of Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden series, definitely give this one a go.

Fun!

C. Cast

Paranormal fantasy romance – huh? It’s a growing genre, and one I’m enjoying. This is the first of PC Cast’s “Goddess” series and so far it’s my favourite!

Mermaids, mermen, time travel… with a sense of humour and some sex. It’ s all good!

It’s a little bit darker than her popular “Dead” series featuring Sookie Stackhouse, but more reality based. The main premise: heroine Harper was struck by lightning and ever since has been able to find the dead. She travels with her – well, previous books have described him as her brother, but that changes in this novel.
A good read.

Good characters and interesting twists to the plots.
