A story about "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought the first movie was cheesy. The 2nd one I can’t even remember if I saw…this one however…the cars were a lot better…and the action…much better. I was surprised I liked it so much…even if I did detect a little Forrest Gump in the accent ha.

A story about "Descent" — 3 years ago

I started reading this and only got a little way through it. It’s just so vulgar and pointless. I can’t make myself read the whole just in case it might be a good book. I think I’ll pass.

A story about "The Lost Boy: A Foster Child's Search for the Love of a Family" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was a great book. Couldn’t put it down and finished it within a matter of hours. It showed a personal account of a foster childs life and then benefits or “good side” of the system which is often missed or overshadowed by the bad side.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really liked this book. I loved the sarcasm and wit of it all, the darkness, and the honestly. I’m glad I went ahead and bought the book instead of getting it from the library.

A story about "Buried Dreams (Lewis Cole, 5)" — 3 years ago

I started reading this just because I finished another book. It’s a library book though and needs to go back soon. I don’t know if I am seriously planning on reading it or not. I don’t really think so. I’m sure it’s an interesting story..which it is so far but not sure if I will read it.

A story about "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" — 3 years ago

Well, I never like to see a movie before I read a book because it’s kind of ruins the imagery for me. But I say this movie before I read the book. I loved the movie so much that it actually inspired me to read the book in the first place. It was a good, or decent book yes, but the movie was much better. I can’t believe I said that, but really. The movie rearranged a few things VERY WELL and really smoothed it out. I was disappointed with the way the timeline and whatnot went in the book I guess. I just figured that the movie held a great story, and I couldn’t even imagine how great of a book it must be. So I was very disappointed by the dialog as well. It was written very…teeny-bopperish almost? It was just written in too young of a dialect if you will, for me I guess. I’d say if you’re going to read this book, know that the movie is better, and look forward to the movie instead.

A story about "Soul Survivor" — 3 years ago

This was a Lifetime movie I just happened to have on. It wasn’t too great of course being on lifetime and all but was pretty interesting the way most modern movies no longer are. Well..as far as horror and suspense and whatnot goes.

A story about "The Journals of Eleanor Druse: My Investigation of the Kingdom Hospital Incident" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

All this time I had been wondering who wrote this book. My local library had it in the Stephen King section. I figured this Eleanor Druse was a pen name for Mr. King. I went searching on his website and apparently it was written by author Rick Dooling who wrote White Man’s Grave and Brain Storm and also wrote quite a few episodes for the Kingdom Hospital TV series. Good book. Read it in a matter of hours.
