Why I recommend "Chub Creek" — 3 years ago
Dave talks to his audience as if he’s your friend, and it’s so nice and fun and helps to make me happy every day. Absolutely fantastic.

BEST chai tea mix (and far cheaper than the powdered stuff)
about 1 inch roughly chopped fresh ginger
6 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
a couple cardamom pods
1 cup milk (I prefer skim)
3 T black tea (I like Assam, but that’s what we normally have in the house anyway, I’ve tried it with Earl Grey and it’s not so bad)
sugar to your desired sweetness (I use 1 Tablespoon)
Put everything into your saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce heat and continue to warm for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Strain (I use my tea infuser).
Grilled cheese is my ultimate comfort food, with tomato soup. My dad made them with tomatoes, my mom with tuna fish. I had a boyfriend for awhile who liked to add French’s yellow mustard. A friend swears by bacon grilled cheese sandwiches. Me, I like a slice of American and a slice of one of the following: provolone, swiss or EXTRA sharp cheddar. When I’m missing my dad I’ll add the tomato, and think that he’s looking down on me. It’s just a sandwich, but somehow it’s more.
I had to read this in high school AP Calculus. It’s an interesting read, but one of the most sexist and anti-women books I’ve ever picked up, so I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. I finished it much later, but, man, it hurt sometimes.
This has always been my favorite Narnia book. It has the most interesting story and is the least religious of the entire series.
It is a great book to read aloud, as it is also the best with character development and dialogue. There is a long story narrated within the story, and the young children I’ve read this to have enjoyed it quite a bit.
I prefer this series in its original order. I realize that C. S. Lewis had said that he hadn’t meant it one way or the other, but in the original order (beginning with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) the series seems more like a myth.
Was wondering how others felt.
I like heavy beers. Hefeweizens are not usually my thing. Magic Hat, however, knows how to make real beer, and I’ve yet to find a beer from them I do not like. And their web site is fantastic: www.magichat.com.
Amazing movie, but impossible to recommend. I left this movie and could not talk to a single person for three hours. The music is far better in the film than on the soundtrack, where it is over-produced.
Great movie for drinking with your friends. Interesting to see the guys point of view. Curious to know how close it is to actual guys experience. Natalie Portman is amazing!
This book made me question memory, what memory means, and how much you can trust your own memories. It was amazing and incredibly entertaining.
