I really kind of flicked through the beginning of this book just because it felt kind of “yeah, yeah and…” There were points here and there that kept me reading. I could relate on a certain level with my own family. Near the end of the book was when I really started to like the book, I realized how much I related to the author thought patterns and fears. The end is a little depressing and hopeful all at the same time. I am glad I read it but for me this is something I’d have rather picked up at the library.

I tried. sigh then I just read bits and pieces but ugh i just couldn’t take it. “Just when I thought the world could’t get any flatter…” aaaahhh stop saying that!! And stop trying to make jokes your not funny. If it wasn’t for all that kind of stuff it would be an interesting book, but the writing just killed it for me.
