Kimberly-Clark claims to be an environmental leader even though for decades they have cleared forests to manufacture products that are used only once and then thrown away. See picture. Source: Kleercut.
The box is made from 100%% recycled paperboard, and minimum 35% post-consumer content. But it doesn’t say if the facial tissues are.
My fiancée bought 2 containers last year. They were in the quick sale bin so he decided to try it. I like it. It doesn’t contain chlorine, it doesn’t smell. They call it The Greener Cleaner.
I was reading the info on the box and it said that this box is made with 100% recycled material including at least 40% post-consumer material. I had no idea. Here I was looking for products that are made with 100% recycled material and 100% post-consumer material and most of the products I buy do, or almost. Not all products are 100% post-consumer, but it’s a start. 100% post-consumer is the best you can buy.
SO MUCH BETTER for the environment and I URGE people to buy them! Everybody needs to help reduce/stop this serious threat that is global warming.
It costs much less to manufacture because the companies reuse what people like you and me and have put in the recycling and making into new, instead of making new from scratch: it uses less water and energy, makes less pollution, saves valuable resources, etc.

Printing paper I have found:
Boise Aspen (100% recycled paper – not Post-Consumer – but it’s a start)
Neenah Paper
Eureka
I’ve been looking online for more paper companies and I can’t find any. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of them.
EVERYBODY in the world should use these bags to throw their garbage out instead of normal plastic bags (either bags bought at a store or grocery bags). Biodegradable bags are so much better for the environment – they degrade much faster and don’t cause pollution! The bag I used for my garbage, which I got from a store that use the NaturSac to put your purchase in – I just don’t remember which store (I am planning on trying out bags from BioBag in the future), says that “This polyethylene EPI bag will degrade in about 12 months depending of the exposition condition”.
I am planning on also buying bio poop bags. I don’t have animals but I know people who do and I think it would be a great gift to them and the environment.
OTHER COMPANIES:
I love making my own nut milks! I enjoy trying out other different types of nuts too. Once, I didn’t have enough almonds (soaked overnight) so I used sunflowers (soaked overnight) too. Man that was good. With about 6 dates to give it a sweet taste (also soaked, for 2-4 hours – they mix better and as for the nuts, it makes them more digestible), or other natural sweeteners such as maple syrup, honey or agave nectar, sometimes I add a banana or half a banana and other fruits if I feeling like having a fruity nut milk. I’ve even done a milk with almonds, sunflowers, chick peas (not canned) and grains such as millet, buckwheat, flax seeds, quinoa and sesame seeds (all soaked overnight). Talk about healthy.
You just put all the ingredients in a blender for a few minutes or more (make sure to blend thoroughly), then strain with a milk bag in a bowl, then put in a container in the fridge to let it chill and enjoy.

You are what you eat. I believe that your chances of getting sick are less if you have healthy habits then if you eat junk food often or all the time. It doesn’t mean that if you eat well and have healthy habits all the time that you won’t get sick. I mean it happens. There are so many things that can make you sick out there.
I got the book from the library but didn’t get a chance to read it and I have to bring it back. But I just bought the book yesterday and I will have all the time in the world to read it. I especially want my dad to read books like that, like books by Michio Kushi, Adelle Davis, William Dufty, George Ohsawa (or Georges), and more. We just found out that my dad has Lukemia and I want him to eat very healthy like, fruits, vegetables, whole foods, etc., when he starts and during his chemotherapy (too bad he can’t afford going to the Kushi Intitute). I want him to have a strong immune system. I wonder if there’s anyhing else he can do to have a strong immune system.
