Why I recommend "SunChips Multigrain Chips (in a compostable chip bag)" — 1 year ago
GOOD ~ FOR ~ THE ~ ENVIRONMENT. NUFF ~ SAID!
I only buy SunChips from now on because they come in a compostable bag. SunChips is the first and only brand to come out with a completely compostable chip bag! And I hope other brands follow suit! It will be so good for the environment!
And the bags can be reused! Since they are compostable, I reuse them to put food scraps and other organics/compostable stuff instead of using my “Bag to Earth” bags. “Bag to Earth” bags cost money, so by reusing my SunChip bags, my “Bag to Earth” bags will last longer!
A story about "The Clan of the Cave Bear" — 1 year ago
Finished reading the book at the end of July, and just watched the movie today. The movie is very different from the book, obviously because they couldn’t fit the whole book in a two hour movie. That’s always the case when they make a book into a movie.
The movie is good, but the book is waaay better.
Why I recommend "Eco-Friendly, Plastic-Free Toilet Brush" — 1 year ago
Ecological, plastic-free. Nuff said.

Why I recommend "Brita's Filter Recycling Program" — 1 year ago
Why I recommend this:
Brita filters are being recycled instead of landing in landfills. Nuff said!
Our landfills are overflowing, expanding and multiplying, let’s divert as much stuff from going there.

If you live in the United-States, there are drop-off boxes (check the website), but if you live in Canada, you have to ship it, free of cost to you (check the website for additional info):
It’s easy:
1. Collect your used Brita filters.
2. When you have 3 filters (make sure they are dry). Put them in a box, ex: your old Brita filter box (to be even more green), or boxes that food/snacks, etc come in, like Nutri-Grain Jumbo boxes, or Instant Oatmeal boxes, or Glad, Eco II, or Bio-Solo Biodegradable Garbage bag boxes, etc. (anything you can reuse that can fit 3 filters).
3. Print the pre-paid label, on used “GOOS” paper (good on one side). Reuse paper, don’t use virgin, just make sure there isn’t sensitive information on it.
4. If your box is a little big for 3 filters you will need packing material: use shredded used paper. I shred everything with any sensitive info on them, then I use the shreddings as packing material. Today, I used shredded used carbon paper – carbon paper isn’t recyclable, so at least it got one more use before going into a landfill. You also save money by reusing.
5. Tape the pre-paid label and ship the box!
Why I recommend "Crumbs" — 2 years ago
I remember watching a few episodes of this show, then all of a sudden it wasn’t playing anymore and I forgot about it. It was a really funny show in 2006 (which apparently had good ratings) that for some stupid reason stupid ABC decide to cancel. Only like 5 episodes were shown but this guy on Youtube posted all 13 (I forget how he got the rest of the episodes).
You can see the first episode here: http://bit.ly/kv18Ej
A story about "Les Filles De Caleb - Coffret de Collection" — 2 years ago
☺
Childhood series. I was 12 (32 now) when Les Filles de Caleb came out in 1990. Watched it all the time with my mom. Loved it, and brings back so many good memories watching it now on DVD!

A story about "Battle: Los Angeles" — 2 years ago
If you like action, you’ll like this movie.
Action from beginning to end. Very effect and action-heavy and character-light (got that last line from a “so-so” review – check link below). I liked this movie, but didn’t love it. There are much better movies out there. It’s pretty much like Skyline. Not much of a story. The movie centers on this military unit trying to get civilians to safety.

One of my favourite childhood cartoons. From 1982. Brought back memories!
