Howie Mandel Stand-Up Show

I loved his show. Very funny. Talks to the audience, I like that (but they pretty much all to that). Saw him at the NAC (National Arts Centre, in Ottawa, ON). He asked a women in the audience what she did for a living and she said: “I clean up bio hazard.” Then you saw Howie, slowly, walking away, from the audience, and saying “you’re effing with me, right?” LOL. Then after a bit, she said “yes I am”. It was sooo funny and Howie was such a trooper. I thought for sure that that would have effed him up and he would have left. You know, because of his OCD and germaphobia.

Howie said that that night was a really weird night. So many people (I think 4), were talking to him during shows. So he would incorporate that in the show and then refer to stuff they said, later on in the show. Very funny and lots of added stuff.

Scott Faulconbridge opened for Howie. Really funny. His act changed a bit. I was used to seeing his old one (something like: “funny haha or funny strange? So now I’m on the emergency room”). He did none of that. There was a mix of old and new. At the beginning he talked about his family, mostly his son. Then at the end he did the bit where it’s raining and he’s got is coat over his head, which makes him look like a maniac and scares everyone, including himself, because he thinks the maniac is someone else. Very funny!

Biodegradable Facial Cloths

Wipes that are not or may not be biodegradable/compostable – which I will send emails to, suggesting them to make their wipes bio/compostable:

Garnier: Phone only – I hate that
St-Ives: DONE
Baléa:
Olay: DONE
Bio Life: No facial wipes yet and I hope they don’t make any at all – all you need is your hands – that’ll be my suggestion (DONE)
Bioré: DONE
Aveeno: I didn’t see facial cloths on their website, so in my email I told them that that was awesome news and I suggested them not to make any, because making/using less and reducing (using facial cleansers and your hands, instead of cloths), is the way to go! (DONE)

Which other cloths could I add?

Saves so much money, paper and whatever used to make the paper, like trees (unless it’s 100% post-consumer, which it is, for us), water, energy, etc.

I reuse paper all the time at work. I take paper from another department, with no sensitive info in them, and reuse them to print stuff. I even bring some at home.

I read that a girl says they have a GOOS bin at their work (Good On One Side). Do the same and save to much money and our precious trees!

Buy printing on both sides of the paper – you can reduce this big pile of paper (picture above) by half, like in the other picture.
