Great and not so great. — 28 weeks ago
I glanced over this book while I was in Paxton Gate and it seemed amazing. Thats what I get for not following my rule of reading a page from the beginning, the middle and the end. I really liked how it started out, with facts and history; telling both how and why things were done the way they were and why certain trends thrived and others died out. Towards the end I felt it was more of the authors opinion, and that’s not what I wanted. I don’t like when opinion is spoken as fact and I felt thats what was going on in the “remembrance” part of the book. Other than that it’s awesome. The images are beautiful and great inspiration if you’re into photography, framing, and shadow boxes.
