I can’t decide if I liked this film or not – it comes with high theory flooding out of every film still, quoting 70s sexploitation flicks, TV ads and Warholesque underground cinema in a hyper-real technicolor whirl. Yet, I’m not sure if it’s actually enjoyable to watch – it looks good and is set designed to within an inch of its life. However, for all its cleverness and gender subversion, it does come across as a badly acted TV movie about the loss of innocence.Once you get into it though, and learn to endure the stilted script and wooden delivery, it’s kind of appealing. I certainly haven’t seen anything like it since the crazy heyday of Thundercrack at the Scala in London back in the 80s.

...this wasn’t very good at all. Over simplistic and quite dull, it turned me off completely. AND I’m an archetypal tree-hugging hippy so it should have been preaching to the converted. :-(
