Read it if you don’t know much about saudi history. If you do, it pretty much rehashes everything you know. The tone is a bit…harsh (u can really tell he has no respect for the wahhabiyyah) and it doesn’t seem good for an academic book. Otherwise, it’s ok.

I read this after coming back from Taos and Santa Fe. I REALLY REALLY REALLY loved this book.

There was one story i particularly liked, the one that talks about difficult ideas relating to 9/11. It is definitely not for the narrow minded.
