A story about "War, Inc." — 19 weeks ago
This movie was so boring we played backgammon in the middle, waiting for it to end (like we predicted it’d end…).

Watching this movie was like flipping through the book, reading only a few paragraphs from each chapter. I’m not sure I’d even understand what’s going on without reading the book. It was a nice reminder, but a bad movie.

This is a fascinating story, very empowering. I started reading it and didn’t put it down till the end.
I wish every woman in the world will have the courage of Mukhtar Mai.
I’ve read very good reviews about this book. It seemed to be overrated, it wasn’t what I expected from the reviews, it wasn’t what I expected from the back cover, and it wasn’t that good in general.
I love books that mix the present with the past, and this one does it beautifully.
I expected a different ending. I always look for the obvious closure, but I like it better that way it is.
One of the most enjoying books I’ve read. The entire reading was pure fun.
This is a great tale, but also full of wise criticism about some social issues that still relevant to our times.
Highly recommended!
I liked this book, it was interesting. Compared to another book from the myths series, “The Penelopiad”, it was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t really the story of Samson from a different angle, it was more like a story about the story of Samson. There are interesting interpretations in the book and I enjoyed Grossman’s clever remarks, but I’d be more interested in reading this story from one of the character’s view, for example.
Disturbing.
Fascinating.
This is not a book, it’s a long flier.
Someone handed me a copy in the street so I read it on the bus.
The Hebrew translation is embarrassing, full of spelling mistakes and even wrong punctuation.
And as for the subject, well, boo-hoo. As I said, nothing more than a long flier. There’s no real interest in the text itself, just another try to get people closer to the writer’s belief.
