Again not a straightforward account of the experience because there is a lot of preaching added on to the story. The mother who co-writes the book sounds very stressed out and I didn’t like picking that up as I read the book.

Great testimony but better to ‘watch’ his accounts of heaven than to read it in a book. I found the book to be not straight to the point and a lot of preaching and overload of scriptures. Too much unnecessary information which easily makes the reader lose concentration. Just tell me what happened to you.

Faced paced and thrilling. I’m looking forward to reading all the other books in the series.

Book on prophesy. It’s all about the Father’s heart. Great reading, I really enjoyed learning through the experiences shared in the book by Isabel and her husband.

Christian rap at it’s finest. There’s nothing wish washy about this album. A lot of maturity in the lyrics, musically creative, makes you want to dance and grow in your walk with Christ all at the same time. Good stuff!

What a very detailed and intricately woven story by Francine Rivers. We see Hadassah grow in faith and boldness and also see how God uses her to transform the lives of the very people who treated her so badly. Without saying much more the ending is a very happy one especially in the light of eternity for many of the characters. However, I didn’t like the way Hadassah’s happy ending was so quickly wrapped up in a few pages after I had spent many chapters reading of her struggles. But overall very good reading. Looking forward to reading final book in trilogy.

I don’t know where to start! If you want the Book of Acts (New Testament) to come alive to you this is certainly a book to start with. This is the true story of people living in our day and age serving the Lord Jesus Christ with no reservations in the midst of persecution because of the incomprehensible love they have received from God through Jesus Christ. You will read about God’s ability to care, provide, comfort and save. You will learn that it is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that the Christian life be lived effectively and powerfully on this earth. You will mostly discover the lengths that God will go to save a single soul from eternal damnation. You will learn that Light always overcomes darkness. Finally you will be challenged to do one or more of the following:

1. Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour

2. Reject the truth

3. Count the cost and run the race

4. Count the cost and look back

Here’s my tip if you are stuck, chose number 1 and number 3.

Heart warming and feel good movie. I’m going to buy the sound track.
