A question I have about "Katamari Damacy" — 30 weeks ago
I can not, for the life of me, pass make the moon! Anyone have any tips?
But yeah, I love this game. I’ve gotten blisters on my thumbs from playing it. :)

I’m not going to gush about this book like everyone here seems to. It’s trashy teen beach lit. That’s really all it is. It isn’t beautifully written. The characters aren’t very well developed. The plot is pretty predictable. Regardless, I consumed it in 3 days of frenzied reading. The book was an enjoyable read, if not particularly memorable or of particularly high quality. So if you want a quick, guilty pleasure read, this may be for you. But don’t have too many high expectations.
So perhaps I’m a little biased because of my James Gunn obsession, but I quite enjoyed this book. It’s an easy read, but engrossing. There is a lot of sex and drugs, if that is your thing. While I enjoyed that, I also found myself sitting back and closing the book and my eyes after reading certain lines, just needing a minute, because some of it resonated so deeply for me. I’d definitely recommend it if you have a twisted, perverse sense of humor, but also are nostalgic and sentimental. You’ll know if it is right for you. I liked it a lot.

Too bad I don’t smoke pot.
The highlights of this film were identifying all the awesome actors. I was like, “Molly Shannon, Amy Poehler, MIB, I <3 Paul Rudd, STARLAAAAAAAA!, Elliot Stabler humping a fridge!
Other than that, it was a waste of time. I have less brain cells for having watched this shitty film.
This movie was hilarious. So perhaps I am biased because I am a huge Jenna Fischer fan. But the film was funny and the whole concept clever. Adding in their actually photos and wedding video and the improvisational quality of the film made it feel real, though also bittersweet since Jenna and James are no longer together. It was truly a refreshing break from typical, high-budget Hollywood films.
Just as ridiculously bad (and yet, somewhat good) as the first two times I saw it in the theater. Yes, it was better in the theater with people screaming and the air literally thick with enthusiasm, but it’s still fun to watch and laugh at.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I love Krakauer’s writing style. Journalistic, yet narrative. I recommend this to anyone looking for a truly riveting read. Also, check out Under the Banner of Heaven, another great read by this author.
