These folks are awesome! I happen to catch them last New Year’s opening for Dresden Dolls—probably the best New Year’s i’ve ever had. Been meaning to order their album for months (sorry guys).
Finally got it, it’s really good. However, L.O. must be seen, i think, to become a true disciple.
CD rocks but Live they are extraordinary!
I hope to catch them again this Halloween at BAMcafe.
Overall good read. I did find the maturity & intensity of the two main characters to be pretty unbelievable for their age (presumably about 14 & 16ish) Seems more suited for college age. But Hoffman does write with an eloquence hard to come by these day that made the novel pleasurable. This was the first book of hers that i’ve consumed :P
