A fast and enjoyable read but I wished for better character development. I’d also like to see more showing and less telling. ”...de Sade was merely the Homer of Cruelty. I am its Aristotle. Its Newton. Its Tesla.” While this certainly tells me a bit about what the characters must be feeling, it doesn’t make or even let me share in that feeling.
