WORTH CONSUMING!

Aside from Kirsten Dunst’s irregular southern accent, I liked this movie much more than I thought I would. It was not your typical romance… I don’t even think I would classify it as a romance. The relationship between the two main characters, while a significant part of the movie, didn’t actually seem to be the most important part of the movie. It was more about the main character, his family and how his family reacts to and absorbs his father’s death. Susan Sarandon’s character in particular was fabulous.

It was touching and definitely worth a see.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought I was in for a “girl movie”, and that’s kind of why Kate picked it. It ended up being a great movie — lots of funny/comedic bits, with a nice, non-sappy romance, sprinkled with more “dramedy” bits.

Close to the end of the movie is a very long roadtrip with a custom made map and custom CD mixes for every stage of the trip. It definitely made me want to get out on the road, and it I could sense Kate looking on with envy for the custom roadtrip, wanting the same thing.

A great movie to watch.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie is awesome. I think it’s written and directed well and a personal best for both Orlando and Kirsten.
