loved it. now I want to move to France and live on a wooden platform/boat thingy!

I simply loved this movie, I watched it with my teenager daugher and her girlfriend. They saw the adult nature, they felt the emotion, and we all teared up and became misty at times, it is an odd comedy, but…a great choice for us to rent for for our Sunday late afternoon movie marathons!

I of course did it backwards and read the book first, which was good but I think I’ll read it again and I may have a better understanding of it because I have seen the movie. And generally when it comes to books and movies the book usually prevails, but I think to fully enjoy this story both avenues must be explored.
