WORTH CONSUMING!
A little bit uneven, I thought, and the first of the Astonishings where I felt that my (lack of) knowledge of recent events in X-history was a hinderence, but overall a wonderful book.
The first half had me so tense I didn’t think I’d be able to sleep the night I started it. And the little touches, like alluding to Wolverine’s Origin in a very funny way, but that still didn’t break the tension.
I did find that the second half became a little confusing, and the ending wasn’t quite as clean as the previouses, but I still can’t recommend this series enough.
