A story about this — 3 years ago
Wells seems to have pushed the Ya-Ya franchise a bit far with this latest addition. The stories paled in comparison to the other books, and it reads like the author has been through some expensive and extensive therapy. It was a kinder, gentler Ya-Yas, and I’m not sure I liked that. It was a fast, entertaining read, but lacked the spark of the other books.
