Ok, it’s not taking me forever – I started it a few weeks ago. But I’ve resolved to only read it whilst travelling (as in long distance journeys) and since I’ve only travelled about 8 hours so far and read for perhaps 6 of them I haven’t gotten to the 200 page mark yet.
I have to say, although the characters aren’t enthralling, I think reading it on the move really adds to the tone of the book. If you’re finding yourself in a bit of a rut (which definitely happens for the first part) then this is the way forward…

I’m glad I’m not the only person who doesnt find this book truly amazing and engaging. I find myself getting confused with it because I’m not paying attention because I dont care about any of the characters. I’ll try finish it, but I dont like it much..

Aaaaargh it only took me about….ooooh….. 15 weeks to read this. I didn’t hate it. I just didn’t find it very interesting or engaging. I found it hard to warm to the characters. It was a bit of a slog of a read.

I began reading this book several years ago and could not get into it…it was recommended as “life changing” and eye opening…i thought it was just boring, never completed it.
Thats just my experience
