Season 3: Not as good as the previous, but still great. — 2 years ago
The show’s always been top-notch, and personally I still it’s one of the best shows on television. The first two seasons were excellent, and despite a few plotlines that I didn’t agree with (ex: Season 2’s finale) it’s always managed to top itself.
Season 3 though left me a bit disappointed. Other than the first few episodes and the finale, the season as a whole felt more like filler than anything. Despite providing more insight into the political and societal workings of the human race, there wasn’t much in the way of the human-Cylon conflict – okay, so there’s that whole temple affair, but … meh.
The finale did manage to set the season back on track, but then comes the realization that Season 4 probably won’t be here until 2008. In short, Season 3 is just going to leave you wanting more … more than ever, because it just doesn’t satisfy as much as you’d like. Still, it’s worth sitting through if you enjoy the show; it’s still probably the best sci-fi series still around.
