This is a tale of the possible future of the Hulk. In a bleak future ravaged by nuclear war (and quite possibly the Hulk himself), an aged Bruce Banner wanders the world hoping for death. However, the fury and gamma ray bathed auroa of the Hulk prevents Banner from doing himself in.
It’s a very dreary story, but it’s masterfully crafted by perhaps the greatest Hulk scribe ever- Peter David.
I could not put this book down. In fact, it’s now got me on the look out for other tales in the “The End” series, which focuses on the final days of many of Marvel’s hardest hitters.
Worth Consuming.
