Admittedly, I enjoyed this film more than I thought I would. It’s not very good as a whole and the lead actress sucks (but Julia Roberts is actually at her best) but I semi-liked it. I can’t really say why, but maybe it’s because the last fairy tale-film I saw was “Red Riding Hood” which I felt was horrible. At the very least, this film looks very good and carries a kind of takes-the-piss-out-of-itself feel to it.
