Not the best, not the worst wedding romantic comedy. I’m a sucker for any vehicle for the two leading men. A solid cast lifts so-so material. If you have to see everything with Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and the inimitable Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell, then rent this one.

I thought this was either going to be hugely funny, or complete crud. Actually it managed to hit the middle ground!

I also thought the basic premise could work out to be ripe for funny situations, but I thought it was under-used. After the opening montage squishes in all the good ideas the writers obviously had, we get into the single situation that tries to carry the whole movie. Admittedly, the two cads getting their comeupances is alright, but eventually it falls into predictability.

Nowhere near as funny as it could have been.
