One of my favorite reads (along with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings)! A great fantasy trilogy and a compelling religious allegory (only slightly reminiscent of The Odyssey…).

I’ve heard this series mentioned so often in my school media classes. Of course, I didn’t realize it was as good as it is!! I was so enthralled – I read the first book in a day, went to the library and read the second book the second day, then on the third day, went to the library for the third book and finished it just three days later. Amazing, gripping, and definitely not an easy series to accurately predict what’s going to happen next!
