If the last time you heard Norah Jones it was “Don’t Know Why” back in the early 2000s, give this one a chance. I was drawn in by the album artwork and the fact that it was produced by Danger Mouse, and was rewarded for my curiosity. The songs have a lot of variation, but I’d say the overall theme is kind of twangy and spacey at the same time. Give it a shot to see what I mean. And of course, Jones’ voice is stellar, but the accompanying production puts it in a new light.
