WORTH CONSUMING!
This movie was slower than I expected, and not nearly as history rich as I would have liked, but I loved how they likened Pocahontas’ growth to that of a tree. As she grows, branches break, and those hardships and heartbreaks ultimately make her stronger; she of course never stops growing. If you’re looking for a movie brimming with battle scenes, full of historical facts and detailed timelines, you won’t find a ton of it here. But I thought it was a beautiful story.
