I went into this fully expecting to love it since I adore shows like ‘Arrested Development’, ‘The Office’, ‘The Comeback’, ‘Extras’ and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, which are all in the same vein… instead I found ‘Fat Actress’ to be what is probably the most badly written and acted show I’ve ever seen. Insipid dialogue, over-acting, pointless scenes, cheesy stunt casting and bizarre use of many many f-bombs. It’s got it all. Granted, I’ve only watched the first episode, “Big Butts” (clever title, that!), but that 33 minutes and 18 seconds felt like the longest I’ve ever spent watching anything.

Please note that I bought this for $1.99 to watch on my ipod. Ugh.
