I’m not a fan of PKD’s bizarre and less SF work, such as A Scanner Darkly. This though has some aspects of SF, albeit a rather lukewarm story. Worth reading for a PKD fan, but others might not get such a kick out of it.

Somewhat dated, but that’s not its fault.

On the whole an interesting ride—the mystery sucked me in, and although I kind of hated its explanation, I found it carried me through almost to the final pages.

It’s been a while since I’ve read any Science Fiction. This looks like it might be a bit Vonnegut-y.

I liked it. It’s dark, it makes you panic at times, but the ending is a little weak. It’s not Sci-fi. I don’t know what it is.

A good read, but not a favourite read.

A darker and more hallucinogenically paranoid Truman Show; some atrophied tangents and a somewhat let-down ending, but otherwise good.
