WORTH CONSUMING!

I had no expectations. And, “wow!” was I surprised. I really enjoyed this movie and the acting was excellent. I was totally drawn into the story (even though we all know it’s not a happy ending) and thought Sienna Miller’s portrayal spot on. Definitely worth consuming!

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Earrings can be distracting.

I thought Sienna Miller made for a good Edie, and not just because she looked so much like Edie. I thought Guy Pearce’s Warhol was indeed a bit low-key, but decent. The film just felt like one long montage scene-lots of visual candy, short on story.

Kept wishing Guy P would up the ante on Andy — 6 years ago

but he never did. GP’s Andy was bland, unlike Bowie’s in Basquiat. Now that’s an admirable Andy. Sienna Miller’s acting was the only thing holding this movie together, but bottomline …meh. Go see Basquiat instead.

I don’t know what everyone is fussing about. It’s not an awful movie, although the script could have been better. Harvey Weinstein trying to buy Sienna an Oscar is maybe a little much, but par for the course. If he really cared about rewarding merit, he would push Guy Pearce’s performance as Warhol which was astonishing.
