A story about this — 1 year ago
I was really rather enjoying this, despite the plodding pace. Is Curtis on to something? Is he crazy? Is it something else altogether? Right up till the last scene, I was ready to really like it, just as judges at Sundance and Cannes and Toronto did in 2011. And then … well, I must leave that up to others to decide, just as writer/director Jeff Nichols did. ( sigh )
