A question I have about this — 1 year ago
NOT WORTH CONSUMING
Am I the only person who didn’t enjoy this? So much good stuff has been said about this, I was really surprised when I had to force myself to finish this. The whole thing—setting, plot—just seemed kind of deliberate. I don’t know. I could be missing something here.
I tried Jamaica Inn as well and gave up halfway. Perhaps Daphne du Maurier just isn’t my cup of tea.
